About
Lana Devi is a contemporary artist and designer creating colorful paintings in oil. Through rich color palettes and botanical forms, Lana explores the balance between ornament, nature, and storytelling within decorative illustration.
Her passion for interior design and architecture led her to earn a diploma in Environmental Design from the Moscow Architectural University in 2015.
Her artistic journey began primarily as a self-taught artist in 2020 during the Covid outbreak, and she later expanded her practice by studying visual arts at Ar.Co in Lisbon in 2023–24.
A passionate traveler, she has long been inspired by the beauty of tropical destinations. She has visited more than 60 countries and has lived in Russia, the USA, Bali, and India. She has been based in Portugal for nearly four years. Lana Devi is a neo-sannyasin (spiritual) name she adopted in India in 2018 at the OSHO International Resort in Pune, where Lana participated in many self-development programs and facilitated yoga classes and meditations.
“Inspired by nature my work combines botanical forms, wildlife, and decorative pattern into layered compositions. Working primarily in oil, I build compositions that merge illustration and painting, where plants, animals, and patterns interact as part of a larger decorative ecosystem.”
Lana sells her original artwork and limited-edition art prints globally, with collectors in the UK, USA, France, and Portugal.
